此外，更新的 NOC 2021 增加了16 個獲得「快速通道」申請資格的職業，同時亦除去了 3 個不符合資格的職業。假若有人是從事這三個不符合資格職業的話，他仍然有機會通過獲得接納申請移民加拿大，例如某些省份的省提名計劃 (PNP) 可能會需要這些職業。
16 個新符合條件職業：
- 薪資管理員 (Payroll administrators)
- 牙科助理和牙科實驗室助理 (Dental assistants and dental laboratory assistants)
- 護士助理、醫護勤務員和病人服務助理 (Nurse aides, orderlies, and patient service associates)
- 藥房技術助理和藥房助理 (Pharmacy technical assistants and pharmacy assistants)
- 中、小學助教 (Elementary and secondary school teacher assistants)
- 執達吏和執達主任 (Sheriffs and bailiffs)
- 懲教人員 (Correctional service officers)
- 執法人員和其他監管人員 （By-law enforcement and other regulatory officers)
- 美容師、電療師和相關職業 (Estheticians, electrologists and related occupations )
- 住宅及商業安裝員 (Residential and commercial installers and servicers)
- 害蟲控制/防治技術員 (Pest controllers and fumigators)
- 其他修理服務員 (Other repairers and servicers)
- 運輸貨車司機 (Transport truck drivers)
- 巴士司機、地鐵操作員和其他公車操作員 (Bus drivers, subway operators and other transit operators)
- 重型設備操作員 (Heavy equipment operators )
